The Rotary Club of Erin has supported many different organizations both locally and internationally. Under our motto “Energize Erin”, we organize projects such as children’s reading programs, trail cleanups and support for exchange students. Internationally, we frequently contribute to the End Polio Now Campaign, which is helping to eradicate Polio globally through large-scale immunization.
What We Do
Erin SummerFest
Held in beautiful downtown Erin at McMillan Park, Summerfest is an opportunity for friends, families, and neighbours to come together to support local Rotary fundraising projects. Great music, beer garden, excellent food and beverages, games and activities for young people, and good fun; all for worthy causes.
Family Day
Family Day, an annual event put on for the holiday of the same name in February, is an event designed for families to spend the day together. Held at Centre 2000 the day includes food, games and activities, and skating!
Wine Survivor
Wine Survivor is a two-week adventure where the players wait in anticipation for the daily draw to see if they are still “in!”. Survivor prizes range from one bottle of wine to seventy-two bottles for the final survivor!
A portion of the 2023 Wine Survivor proceeds will support East Wellington Community Services to improve transportation services for local seniors and other Rotary community projects.

Hillsburgh Victoria Park Pavilion
We built a Pavilion in Hillsburgh’s Victoria Park to celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial.
It was constructed and in use for the first official day of summer in 2017!
Rotary RiverWalk Trail
We promote healthy lifestyles outdoors by building trails and pursuing the Rotary RiverWalk Trail.
Energize Erin
In addition to organizing events, we look for other opportunities to get involved and give back to our community. We get involved in events like the Santa Claus parade, the Erin Fall Fair, and often our members will volunteer for EWCS. We Energize Erin by giving back!
