Summerfest Canada Day Raises $12,500 for Our Community and Beyond

The Rotary Club of Erin is pleased to announce that Summerfest Canada Day raised $12,500 to support four organizations making a difference in our community and beyond: Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, East Wellington Community Services, Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, and Bracelet of Hope.

The funds raised will support programs and services that make a tangible difference for people in our community and beyond.

Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington
Our contribution will support the Send Kids to Camp program, helping local children experience camp while developing new skills, gaining confidence, and making lasting friendships.

East Wellington Community Services
Our contribution will enable the EWCS outreach team to provide practical support and essential supplies to vulnerable community members who are living unhoused, couch surfing, or residing in unsafe housing conditions, helping them stay safe, healthy, and connected to services.

Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis
Our contribution will support the Rural Women’s Support Program, helping survivors of violence rebuild their lives by providing assistance with needs such as Family or Criminal Court costs and grocery cards for those experiencing food insecurity.

Bracelet of Hope
Our contribution will help support the running costs of Bracelet of Hope’s mobile health units, providing vital healthcare, medicines, screenings and health education to remote families in Lesotho, Africa, while also helping to upgrade the kitchen in one of its foster homes.
