Community Giving Program

We welcome funding requests that make a meaningful difference in our community.

Erin Rotary members present a cheque for $400.00 to members of the Orton Community Association to further their support for community activities.

What We Support

We’re looking for projects that address one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Youth

  • Community health and well-being

  • Promoting peace

  • Fighting disease

  • Providing clean water

  • Saving mothers and children

  • Supporting education and literacy

  • Growing local economies

  • Protecting the environment

  • Serving underserved, disadvantaged, or marginalized populations

We prioritize service-based initiatives and typically do not fund ongoing operating costs.
Both large and small projects are welcome. Preference is given to those with the greatest impact, especially for disadvantaged populations.

Value of Support

Most grants are up to $500, but larger grants may be considered based on:

  • The strength and potential of the project

  • Opportunities to leverage additional funds

  • The availability of Rotary funding

What We Look For in Applications

Your request should:

  • Clearly define objectives and timeline

  • Describe the community benefit and impact

  • Include measurable outcomes

  • Demonstrate the capacity to successfully deliver the project

  • Highlight opportunities for Rotary members to get involved
