Are you looking for a great family event that promotes your community in Erin? The
Erin Rotary Club is holding a ‘Family Day’ celebration on Monday, February 17th.

This event is being organized by the Rotary Club to give families a local option for
quality family time, with the goal of generating funds and awareness for Rotary Erin’s
local projects, including the Erin Youth Centre which is being established in 2020!

Chris Bailey, the organizer of this Rotary event, reminds us that this long weekend is all
about celebrating your family. “We have a fun-filled day planned and are inviting
everyone to join us for a great time.” All events are held at Centre 2000 in Erin.

The highlights for the day will be FREE Family Skating from 11am1pm, and affordable
Indoor Carnival Games from 11:30am to 2pm, including visits with kid-approved
characters and face painting. A FREE showing of a family movie on the big screen will
follow, starting at 2:30pm. A concession stand, operated by Jess for You Café, will be
open throughout the event with affordable lunch and snacks for everyone.

Your local Rotary Club supports and participates in many community projects, including
Erin Trails, EWCS, Food bank, and the Erin Fall Fair. They are also active in Rotary’s
International Polio Plus program and Peace initiatives.
